This morning we headed to Manly Beach after getting a ferry there from Central Quays near The Opera House. Manly reminds us very much of Torquay or Bournmouth in the UK as it has that retirement feel to it. It's a lovely older town and we enjoyed walking the mile long beach and then around it's shops.
After getting the ferry back to Central Quays it was a couple of tube rides and a bus ride to Bondi Beach (New South Wales, Oz) This is a very well known beach, very nice, but I think our Tenby Beach in Wales (UK) trumps it.
It was good to see Bondi and Manly beaches. After buying some food for our evening meal, we got back to our hotel for an evening in after a tiring day. We will be up about 4am to set off a short while later for our trip to The Blue Mountains and blip-meet.
