What is going on in this photo?
This is a photo of a few public school buses. These buses are parked outside of Chancellor High School. At the time, they were waiting to take the students home from a hard day of school.

How is it related to a specific human geography concept from the current unit or previous units?
This photo is related to the vocabulary term space-time compression. Space-time compression describes how we have invented technology to help shorten our time spent traveling from one place to another. With the invention of public buses, kids can get to and from school much quicker. Before buses, kids would have to walk to school and depending on how far away they lived, could take a very long time.
