Another day....another finger post!

At the risk of being labelled a 'Finger post geek' I bring you yet another picture of one today! 
I have to confess I didn't actually set out to photograph another one but following a fine sunny morning, the minute I set foot out of the door after lunch to chase a blip it started spitting, which had turned into pouring by the time I got to the end of the road!!
So, best of a bad job it is......this lovely restored finger post stands at the foot of the hill that leads up to the sweet little village of Itchingfield ( I wonder if it was once a field of itchy plants!).
I will post some shots of the village another day - preferably when the sun is shining.
