A walk in the park.

Having checked the weather forecast the morning was scheduled to be the best part of the day.  I had arranged with my brother to go out for a walk so off we set heading towards Askham.  We had a choice of routes along a flat field or through the woods in Lowther Park.

The park won so this is the shot looking out of the woods across the park.  On the way back we were greeted by a Labrador with a sign  on its back saying "Blind Dog".  We established that it wasn't an off duty guide dog, it was amazing how it was managing without bumping into anything.  The label was to help ex[lain to anyone it approached by mistake why it was making mistakes.

On getting back to the car a cuppa was calling so we headed towards the cafe at the castle - no luck closed until March.  OK the cafe in Askham again closed.  Fortunately there was a kettle at his house!
