Springburn Park Winter Garden, Glasgow

Some good news about this derelict "A" listed winter garden, built 1899-1900. It was once the largest single span glasshouse in Scotland.

It was severely damaged in a storm in the mid 1980s, and since then left to the elements.

A Trust was formed in 2014, and the latest phase of repair work began at the end of 2016. Seemingly severe corrosion in steel beams supporting the roof needs attention.

I do hope funding is found to completely renovate the space.
