A Domestic Day


HarlingDarling was involved in a massive sort out, tidy up, throw away session for a lot of the day and I did the other domestic stuff. Sewed new velcro onto my skiing pants, baked  sourdough bread, fed birds, did accounts and cleared snow from the car, ready to go shopping (which I never did in the end).
Getting ready to eat I  was getting cheese out when I saw my sourdough starter had burst free of its plastic box and started to take over that corner of the fridge. Volatile stuff; I beat it back into submission and cleaned up the mess.
And now I finally get to eat some of that bread!
