Mono Monday: through my window

Took this photo early this morning, such a delight to see a bird in the garden at long last. Much better than the local cats.
Spent the day in Liverpool at the eye hospital with my sister Kate. The appointment went well and I'm having the operation to repair the macular hole on 27 February. I have opted to have the op under general anaesthetic rather than be awake! For 5 days after the op I have to have my head resting on my hands looking at the floor for 50 mins in every hour, it's called posturing! Thanks Kate for your support and company today.
