The fennel series: three

Still playing with the new 35mm lens -- it's taking a bit of getting used to. You'll have to wait for the grape blips -- I took a few but wasn't satisfied with them. One very noticeable thing is just how light the camera is with this dinky little lens instead of the 18-105mm one :)

I felt a bit low today -- it was still dark at 7 am, and even when it was light, it was grey and gloomy all day. Goodness knows we need the rain, but it really feels as if summer is over, and the effervescence of the grape harvest hasn't started yet. I spent hours struggling with what should have been a simple programming task, but which got more complicated the longer I looked at it. Programming tends to turn you into a pessimist, because you are always looking for things that might go wrong. Thank goodness for walks in the vineyards and cheerful yellow fennel :)
