Marlborough, home of NZ sauvignon blanc. The Marlborough area grows 86% of NZ'S sauvignon blanc, it has 300 plus wine growers and 65 wineries. The growers mostly supply the wineries who process the grapes. I have been trying, over years, to sample them all but it seems like l am failing miserably, will keep trying though.

Some of the growers eg Peter Yealand use a miniature sheep called babydoll to keep the ground underneath the vines clear of weeds. There is a range of wines from Yealand called Babydoll, hmm very nice Sav B.
