Looking towards Lister Mills

Lister Mills was once the largest silk factory in the world. Apparently during the WW2 it produced 1,330 miles of real parachute silk, 284 miles of flame-proof wool, 50 miles of khaki battledress and 4,430 miles of parachute cord. So I'm guessing it played a pretty important role!
The mills closed in 1992 and are now Urban Splash apartments.
