The lost key

I had a day of commenting on correspondence, considering concerns and complaints, and pouring over statistics as I prepare to report on the "feedback loop" - the report on the implementation and impact of children's hearings decisions which I am due to submit.

I took a break at late lunchtime to go to the shops and the bank. On getting back to the office I wanted to put some purchases in the car. But no car key!

After searching every pocket I concluded that the key must have fallen out when I was out.

Fortunately on retracing my steps I discovered that I'd dropped the key in a supermarket and some kind person had handed it in.
