Pump up the volume.

At work this morning my colleague asked me to accompany him on a glamorous mission. Imagine my joy when we arrived at a derelict filling station in Chirnside. The locals want the pumps removed, and we were there to see if they have previously been made safe. One of the inspection hatches had been tarred over, and the others jammed solid. Looks like we'll have to go back another day.

On the plus side he did treat me to a coffee and a cheese and tomato scone in Hugo's in Duns. I can whole-heartedly recommend that cafe/bistro.
