Overcooked

44C according to the phone at around 3 pm.  It was a moderate 33C at 10 when I took Poppy for a run and swim at Redhead.  A lot of other people had the same idea but after that it was a fast retreat home to the air conditioning and go outside at your own peril as the temp climbed.  Well as you can see I did venture out this evening to get a blip of the full moon.  Unfortunately I needed to be 3 metres in the harbour to get the shot I wanted with the moon behind the signal house but hey ho, maybe next time.

The extra is of Nobbys at 7.30pm showing how people have been cooling off.  It was a delicious 30C there as it gets the sea breeze.  Another 5 degrees hotter at home.  Tomorrow will be bad again with strong Westerlys and there are dire fire danger warnings.  A change is coming though if we haven't fried before then....
