Duck on the mud

Why wash in the nice fresh water my grown ups have just given me,  when i can bathe in the mud?

Today it snowed for much of the day but by late afternoon it had melted and the ground is muddy once again.

My main is my contribution for Admirers Silly Saturday challenge and the extra is the chicken field with the snow falling earlier today.
