No smoking in the garden

I had a phone call from a friend this morning to say that a flock of waxwings had been seen in a road in Oswestry. We drove around to no avail and found out later that a mistle thrush had been protecting it's hoard and must have sent them away.

The photo is of a pair of beautiful old chimney pots in F's garden. When he bought the house the previous owner left five original chimney pots and they make a lovely feature.
