Afternoon with Cora-Lee

Really cold this morning when i got up.... -13 and it didn't get much warmer!  I started the wood stove in the studio around 10am and by the time i got back out there after our meditation, around 11 am, it was still only 12 degrees!   really too cold to work comfortably.   But i had a deadline so i suffered thro and trimmed the wine cups i made the other day!

Off to visit with Cora-Lee who kindly offered to help me look for an outfit for the upcoming daughter's wedding!   Cora-Lee is a wealth of information and knowledge about interesting and funky clothing.   The last thing i want is a typical 'mother of the bride' outfit....yuk!   So i knew C-L was my woman!!!   We sat at her computer, glass of wine, some snacks and we scrolled thro loads of wonderful images....from amazingly stunning vintage frocks....beaded and flapper types, so beautiful...and oh so expensive to some lovely, but not for me, Scandinavian clothing ....but we had fun!   Then she took us to her favorite spot on Etsy.....and i think we might have found the beginnings of a funky outfit for me!   it was a lovely few hours spent at her and George's home.   the place of the Dancing River Sprite feasts!  this is the view into their living room...i love it!!!
