Iced Clothsline.....

we had some freezing rain over night and so everywhere is just sheer ice.....such a pain cos we were wanting to go up to Sydney, get a hit of the hustle and bustle of the place....but sadly not today!   i just don't have the guts right now to take on the potential of an ice covered parking lot!  so we're staying put! 

might try and watch some of the Olympics......my favorite right now is the men's (and the women's when they come on!) snowboarding events....wow....they are all totally insane.   Both my daughters are avid snowboarders and i'm just thanking my lucky stars that they didn't get that adrenaline junky gene......i can't imagine being a parent of some of the folks and having to watch them!   The Canadian guys got Silver and Bronze...which was good, but i was so hoping for a Gold, especially for Mark McMorris....he'd been thro so much last year, and he's only 24...he was in first place for a while  oh well!!!
