Radical Deconstruction....

When i've been looking at a painting for a few days, and just know it isn't working....can't put my finger on the part that's bothering me....so i get into 'radical deconstruction'....which i just love!!!   covered this one in this extra with transparent gesso and in some places regular gesso!   Now when they dry there will be still a strong image underneath, but i can now go back into and see what happens.!!!

See the extra here, for the 'radical deconstruction' of where the more organic image started the other day.   looked too much like a bunch of psychedelic bananas!!!  so now i have 2 new surfaces to work with tomorrow.

it's been a crazy day:  had a physio appointment and our road down to the highway was a sheet of ice...but i was loathed to miss my appointment, my dear man Terry, went up and down the road a few times with the old plow truck, which has chains on the wheels...so even altho i was pretty anxious about going, i went!!!   Only to be held up on the highway for 1/2 hour....resulting in me missing my physio!   but not all was lost...i went to the pool and did some exercises there and had a lovely hot tub!!!   as nice as it is to not have to be dealing with tons of snow, this up and down and icy shit is very frustrating!!!
