New Orchid

Couldn't resist this lovely orchid at the grocery store the other day $10!!!!  i remember when i first started buying orchids, they were really expensive and pretty rare....not now!   And that's ok, we should all be able to enjoy the beauty of these flowers.

Temps have risen a bit, only -7 and there is no wind, so not too horrible.   still not interested in going over to start the wood stove in the studio....it's still -5 over there!   I am very much missing being able to paint, i guess if i wasn't such wuz i'd be over there, where is my dedication to my art!!!!

I'll stay warm in here and do more pastels, which i still love, but i'm kinda addicted to the wax and oil process :)

In other news....Terry is once again dealing with frozen pipes in the kitchen .... so i guess i can't do up any dishes from last nights supper!!
