Incoming....

Everyone's nesting - the swans, the coots the moorhens. They're all hard a work creating new homes.

I'd decided on the big walk up to the monument and along the ridge. It takes about 2 hours and apart from a few cows and a couple of buzzards I saw no one. Just perfect. The fog soon cleared, and it was beautifully sunny too.
