I had a well needed morning of horsing to start my day. Little Ruby had her first little solo hack, just to the first road junction and back. Initially a little reluctant to turn away from the yard she chose to trust me and was soon in her happy hacker mode, we even had a trot. She was clearly chuffed with herself. I then led Nettie the same route, saddled up and with the stirrups down so she could feel them against her sides. She also did a grand job, listening really well and keeping calm. Time for a quick sweep up before scooting off with the dogs to Evie beach.

Gorgeous has been plumbing in Stromness all day but i did manage to drop past him to steal a quick kiss between horsing and dogging.
