Aide memoire

I play bowls at CERN on Wednesdays on their croquet lawn.
We are a group of about 15 players and between 8 and a dozen normally turn up, then we split into smaller groups of 3 or 4 for the actual bowling.
We take a coffee break at about 11.00 and it is thought quite important that we bowl in the right sequence of players when we re-start.
Just so we don't forget, before coffee, we put our bowls in order, it has been called solid state memory, given the bowls are pretty solid and we're in a state and have poor memory....
