I had planned a day of photo tuition with The Bro-in-Law (kanyl) at the studio so that he could get to know a camera which was new to him. Every time I checked the weather forecast the outlook got better and better.

I'm so glad we didn't come on a bad day!

We have located a good vantage point for landscape photography but, today we didn't stay long there before we moved to a more sheltered site where we study shutter speeds on flowing water.

The afternoon session was spent on creating HDRs from this morning's shots and focus stacking with macro images. We try to work to our students' interests on courses and Bro-in-Law had more basic knowledge of photography than many of our students so it was appropriate to move onto these topics today.
