Only a rose

Not a red one for Valentine's Day, but a deep pink one flowering in the garden high above the fence, and just look at that lovely blue sky!
Don't be fooled though as it is still quite cold, although did reach 7C.

Have now recovered from  our wine tasting last night.

As usual I make something special for our Valentine Day meal.
So as well as Spanish Chicken, I am trying out the recipe which James Martin made for Michel Roux on his cookery/travel programme  ( James Martin's French Adventure)  yesterday.
Pancakes (  or Crepes )  with an orange and lemon sauce.
Looked wonderful. Hope it tastes as good when I make it.
