I went to London...

We took ourselves off down to the Capital today to do a bit of looking around before we all go to the Tate Britain Hockney Blipmeet on 10 March. The Museum was absolutely packed today, especially the cafeteria!  We'd had a recommendation of a pub on the Vauxhall Bridge Road so that's where we are going to meet!  There should be room in there for the 15 or so of us who are planning on going.

After that, we walked up to Trafalger Square, contemplated going into the Crypt  at St Martin in the Fields for some lunch but didn't like the menu so we ended up at a little Greek restaurant.  Nice!  After that we spent some time in Stanfords looking for holiday guides for the places we are planning going to...  I could have spent ages and lots of money in there!  After that, a trek across to Regent St, Trailfinders to pick up some information for a future journey we are fancying, then Oxford Circus and the Tube back to the station for the train home.  Walked a long way, saw some lovely architecture, Had a good day,  tired now!
