Trapped

The Yo-Yo weather continues, today misty, cold and miserable. Even the drops on the poor crows beak and tail are actually icicles and this was at 3:00pm.

The light green netting in the background was put up in the autumn after we lost two hens to a buzzard. Netting usually collapses after snow but this winter we have been lucky to have had fine and very dry snowflakes which fall through the holes.

The plastic crow was bought a few years ago in an attempt to ward off the crows that loved our newly hatched chicks. However never worked, the crows totally ignore it.

Stayed trapped indoors apart from a dog walk in the late afternoon. Duty rather than enthusiastic event.
