Preening

Very delighted to spot this Red-breasted merganser (Mergus serrator) on the Water of Leith this afternoon.
He is in full breeding plumage, silly hairstyle freshly combed; so (appropriately for the day) he was looking for lurve....
Sorry not to have blipped for a month or so. Life, you know.
I have a photo (pretty rubbish, usually) for each missing day, so I'll slowly blip 'em.
