An amaryllis welcome home

Yesterday we travelled back to Edinburgh overnight from our holiday in Antigua. This amaryllis greeted us when we reached our flat.

I didn't manage any sleep on the flight, but was well entertained by my book (The goldfinch by Donna Tartt). I am determined to stay awake until 'proper' bedtime to ensure a good night's sleep in readiness for my return to work tomorrow.

Exercise today: airport walking and walk to the library to return/renew my books (8,867 steps).
