Lunch Break

A fun afternoon - across the wobbly bridge to see the Wood Engraving Soc's exhibition. Stunningly detailed and intricate engravings. All quite affordable. I bought one of a hoopoe a couple of years back.

Continuing on to a  performance of a musical which had passed me by - Death Takes a Holiday.

From that a whiz to a late night opening of a show of Sussex artists at 2 Temple Place. That's a fab building in itself -see extra- and the collection on display of stuff by Eric Gill, John Piper, Eric Ravilious and loads of others was great. That was the high point of the day for me.

Now home and off to the kitchen to whizz up an egg on toast.
