Campaign continues

What a lot of sterling work is being done by the committee coordinating the campaign to save our community hospital. The CCG won't look at any of the options we put forward. They suggest the building could be used as a "Health and Well-being Hub" but are vague about what that is. Other hospitals are turning people away for lack of beds. The hospice say they could use the space, as does dementia care, but the CCG won't consider it. Even if the hospital is closed, the NHS has to pay £600,000 every year for 15 years as it was built on the PFI scheme. We have 9 weeks to put forward an option - but it can only be the option they want! We live in crazy times.

Sorry the blip is so poor - I took it in the hall where we had the meeting tonigh - I blip to record what is going on in my life.
