Millport Bay

I decided to walk around the Clyde island of Big Cumbrae. At about 12 miles, that makes over 21 miles in two days. Not bad for an old guy, I felt. And I was carrying about a stone of camera equipment on my back, and several more stones elswhere.

Arran is on the horizon with some interesting weather looming above it.

When I got off the ferrry at Largs, I met an old colleague who was talking to a gentleman who turned out to be Johnathan Cohen - remember the piano player on Play School? He'd been performing at a classical piano recital at the cathedral in Millport which my wife had been at and greatly enjoyed.
