Bathing Pelican

I've pulled into my favorite mobile home park many times this vacation...on the lookout for bathing pelicans. (They like the small freshwater pond in the park.) But, I haven't seen many.

But today, there was a single bird, and I took many pictures. I just love it when they do this.

I fell into one of my bad Michigan habits this morning. Watching too much ESPN. So, I didn't head to the shore until about 11:30. Shameful.

Once I finally got going, it was a good afternoon.
