Aberdeen - Hong Kong!

Eileen had never been to Aberdeen, so thought it would be nice to show her this part of Hong Kong.

We set out on another perfect weather day. She's been so blessed with amazing weather, it's been an absolute pleasure being out there, Hong Kong looking it's best in glorious sunshine.

We negotiated a half hour ride on a sampan in Aberdeen harbour passing the famous Jumbo Floating Restaurant and Aberdeen marina club, and some pretty house boats and fishing boats.

We then got a free ride back to Jumbo, where we feasted on delicious dim sum and Chinese favourites. Eileen treated me to this meal, which I've only ever had once before. Martin and the boys haven't even been! It was really special and extremely relaxing sitting out on the balcony, watching the tourist boats go by and the buildings and hills around the area.

We then headed to the brand new lime green line MTR which goes to the south of Hong Kong island. All very new, spiffy and clean. Felt like a real tourist today.

Back to Central for some last minute shopping in the Lanes.

A super last day for Eileen. It's been lovely to have her and Martin and I are both sad to see her leave tomorrow, but we know she (and David) will be back soon ...

Evening ended with Downtown!
