Through Struggles to the Skies

Sometimes the Royal Air Force motto is translated as 'Through Adversity  to the Skies'  -  as an ex-WRAF photographer I thought either translation would fit what our magnificent Blipfoto Team have achieved over the past year. A big thanks to them, and to all fellow-blippers, for keeping the stars in sight:)  During my walkabout today I spotted this Crane with the sun reflecting off the top like a star  -  immediately I thought 'blip':)  In the end I couldn't make my mind up whether to make it my main blip, or the Rook in my extra.  The Rook is a caring and intelligent bird - see HERE and a long-established Rookery is a sign of good fortune. In the end it was the sky behind the Crane that made up my mind.
