If you can't beat them...

Robin

A quiet day.  The only time I was over the door step was to take clean bed linen to T at the Lodge as he is into the last week of his months booking.  Just to ensure I had "exposed some electrons" in case anything else didn't jump out to me I took some shots of the garden feeders.

The Robin appealed.  A common bird found in 94% of all the countries 10Km squares and showing a slight increase in range over the last 40 years.  This is possibly owing to tree planting in some of the more undesirable habitat.  I understand that on the continent they aren't the confiding  characters they are here.   They seem to prefer woodland edge and avoid people much more.
