Flower Power

This magnificent painting of flowers forms the centrepiece of Greer Ralston’s exhibition in the Smith museum and Art gallery in Stirling.

I missed the opening because we were en route back from the Caribbean but friends tell me over 200 people were there. That is a very good number for an art exhibition opening, though not surprising given that Greer is not only a well established artist but also runs popular art classes too.

Incidentally there was much scuffling in the bedroom last night and this morning revealed the carnage- feathers and carcas of a bird, difficult to identify because so little remained. Meanwhile Taz purred at the foot of the bed.
