Snowdrop Water Lily

Snowdrops are pesky to photograph because their drooping heads hide much of the flower structure. One would not know that this is a double unless one had a worm's eye view. I've turned it into a water lily by floating it on the birds' enamel plate for my emergency blip. 

I was hoping to photograph a thrush to go with today's poem O Thou Whose Face Hath Felt The Winter's Wind by John Keats. https://en.wikisource.org/wiki/O_thou_whose_face_hath_felt_the_Winter's_wind One often sings in the evening from the top of the ash tree but it wasn't there today. :( I'm sure the birds are even more pleased to see the spring than we are. :)
