Snowdrops on a Bank

I slept well, fortunately.

Up earlyish to drive to the East Midlands Group of the Royal Photographic Society meeting in Whatton in the Vale. I missed the AGM but that meant I was in good time for the main business of the day, a wonderful talk by Ian Wilson of Cambridge Camera Club on 'Nooks and Crannies in Lightroom.'

Most interesting and informative. Today's photo should illustrate one thing that he told us. You can change crop overlays in Lightroom. Rule of Thirds is rubbish. He introduced us to the Golden Ratio and the Golden Spiral. I've overlaid the Golden Spiral on this shot. I wonder if it will seem more satisfactory to you than if I had just cropped it without thinking. See the extra for that alternative.
