The Palmerston

Passing through King;s Cross today this engine was on display. Thought it made a fine blip. Some info:

One of Ffestiniog's first steam engines was built by Geo England & Co London and delivered in 1864 to haul passengers and slate wagons between Porthmadog harbour and the quarries in Blaenou Ffestiniog in North Wales. Retired in 1937 it was eventually restored to steam in 1993.

Off out for a meal with my daughter then to watch the play of Doestovksy's book 'crime and punishment'. One of my all time favourite books. So early blip today.
