On The Doorstep

The happy campers arrived back mid-morning. 

On the whole, I think they had a good time. They had the site to themselves - surprising in February? The yurt was snug and only creaked a little bit in the wind. The rain stayed away and the sky was full of stars last night.

They set off after lunch, taking Raf with them and leaving us home alone and moping. 

After a bit we gathered ourselves to head out into the garden. Just then, snow began to fall.

So, a quick blip of hellebores in the the pots by the back door.

The snow came to nothing, but much more is forecast for tonight. We'll see.
