Today we hiked 17km and bit over 5 hours in Parque natural del Carrascal de la Fuente Roja in Alcoy.

It was cloudless day, but the Sahara dust is heavy in the air and therefor it's very hazy.

The highest point of our journey was Cumbre del Menejador 1354 meters above sea level. Our starting point was around 800 meters. We went up twice, but only once to 1354 meters. Anyway there was a lot of going up and coming down and going up again and finally coming down. (My legs are burning. )

But what a day we had! We saw few other people (can count them with one hand), saw beautiful views, heard the birds sing all day long, had no injuries or scary parts of the path, and finally found our way back to the car. It really didn't feel like 17km up and down, but my legs witness the hardships they've been though today.

The photographs would have been way more beautiful without the Sahara dust, but it is what it is. And I still couldn't pick up just one picture (it might have been the one of Amadeus in the lower right corner) and made a collage. More pictures in Insta!

Ps. All the dogs have one picture just of them. Can you find Buddha's?
