A Day Worth Recording

Power Pointers

Spent the day in meetings!  Firstly the National Garden Scheme Area Meeting where we picked up our new roadsign (the blip).  This was followed by a Consortium meeting with a presentation by FreeToBook. More powerpoint slides in one day than the past year.

How did we ever survive doing this on a daily basis?

The new NGS logo is getting mixed reviews.  Unsurprisingly the old one (which was just "ngs" in green lower case) meant nothing to most people.  The new one is at least a lot more informative and, I think, more friendly - but it blurs into a mush at about ten paces.

As per last year, we're open 'by appointment' as there isn't really the parking to accommodate an 'open day'.  However, this year we've paired up with a new garden just around the corner - which is particularly nice as the garden(er)s have very different strengths (they know what the plants are called, for one thing...)
