New Generation

As the signs of Spring are more numerous each day this young male squirrel is very much in charge of 'his' bird feeder and the wall behind. I spotted him send some pigeons flying and he's munched his way through most of those peanuts now.

I was hoping to get some pics of scouts making little stoves using candles inside upturned aluminium cans... but we were down on leaders, behaviour was challenging and I didn't get a chance with the camera. Lucky I saw this squirrel earlier in the day
