Pre-Doris

This was very definitely the calm before the storm: this rainbow appeared before the majority of the students and as a pre-cursor of Doris. She arrived with a vengeance on what is my duty day but we managed to survive it. At  least the rain didn't really come in at break or lunch time but seeing the buses off at the end of the day was a far too lengthy event in that kind of weather. 

Two events attended in part at the end of the day and then talking through another event happening next week with one of the most positive of my colleagues ended the day off quite nicely. And then home to Bailey and a haircut. Bailey greeted my hairdresser in an appropriate fashion but wasn't quite as bemused by the whole process as last time.

It's been a quick week all told and Friday will hopefully see the week out with a whimper. I could do with a straightforward day.
