The old and the new

Off to Gargunnock House today where the garden participates in the snowdrop festival. I think we'd been a bit tardy this year as the snowdrops were past their best. Luckily there were plenty of azaleas flowering and lots of daffodils, some in flower, others just about to burst. It was a beautiful day with sunny blue skies and no wind. So we walked all round the grounds and the old walled garden where there are a few crabapple trees. I liked this one with last year's fruit and this year's growth just starting to show. The extra is the excellent bughouse built in the walled garden.
