As is the way when inheriting other people's DIY, what should have been a simple decorating job is getting somewhat more involved.

For various reasons (not least, ridding the ensuite of it's 70's peach) it's necessary to re-tile the shower room.  I wasn't expecting the old ones to come off quite this easily (and indeed, on the other two walls, they didn't).

Glad we didn't decide to tile on top of the old ones*, given that the only thing holding them up was the grouting and happy thoughts.
