Rivulets

The mornings frost lifted quickly to reveal a beautiful, bright spring day. It seemed that it would be too good an opportunity to miss so after making pancakes we set off to the beach with the dogs for a run across the sands. They both had a whale of a time and I found several photo opportunities. This one was water flowing through some light coal powder.
For the first time I saw the tiny plastic beads, nerdles, which have been in the news recently. The level of environmental degradation and the long term consequences of this sort of material concentrated up the food chain is hugely worrying.

Even though it was such a lovely day, home made soup was a welcome warmer when we got in.
