Columns of light

I arrived at work this morning to find that all the spaces where I prefer to park, were already full. As I headed back to the parking building, the rising sun on Lake Pupuke attracted my attention. I stopped and got the only photo of the day. It was a full on ten hour day in which my lunch 'break' was when I did some notes. 

As I look again at the photo, I can see it as an image of a gigantic flying saucer launching upwards and outwards to the stars.
