Hermann Platz and Currywurst

Monday.
We got up timely as the day we leave loads need to be done.
After breakfast and a bit of sorting we started our shipping trip with the first stop at Hermann Platz and Kotbusser Damm. Here is a Turkish Supermarket where we bought Koefte to take home, freeze and then serve at our party in April. Next Stop was to get some awesome German Bread at a wonderful bakery called Saluna - Oel und Brot in Gneisenau Strasse.
I am wheat intolerant and they bake wonderful 100% rye bread which I can cope with.
After that we raided the Markethall before going home and starting packing stuff up.
We planned to leave at 4 pm and had enough time for a "Good bye coffee" at the French place in the Markethall. On the way there I did buy a new hat!
The hat shop had sale on and I could not resist another Stetson hat for half price!!!
After a lovely coffee we got home, closed our cases and made our way to the airport.
Smooth travel through Amsterdam with a short stop at the lounge and then the last flight with 20 pm arrival in Glasgow.
We were home and unpacked before midnight.
Midnight supper was tons of this wonderful bread ;)

The picture is taken on Hermann Platz.
