Paradise Street

An advert for a vintner in Walluf - it is still there and very, very Deutsch.

(das) Paradies is the German word for Paradise, and Str. is the abbreviation for Straße.

I wasn't anywhere near Paradise today.

I was deeply involved in what can only be described as a farce.  I shall not go into the details.  Things that I was told were easy, turn out to be not possible at all.

Perhaps Herr Bonnet has a bottle of something to soothe my somewhat furrowed brow.
